It’s been another busy day at the races… Alan Young at trackside began by saying that it was a “Lovely morning, and William is creeping up the leader board.”

Alan, never one to miss a chance to visit the race kitchen, continued by telling me (with delight…) that today there was… “Another birthday and yet more wonderful cake !!!”

But while Alan may have been firmly been insisting that William’s own one-man Tartan Army marches on his stomach, William himself was busy clocking up the distance on the track…

Alan tells me that William had… “gone through 3500 km (2175 miles) in 36 days 9 hours 34 minutes and 47 seconds”.

Subject to the usual confirmation & ratification etc, this will be both a new Scottish and UK M60 and also a Scottish & UK Overall record, and at this point I believe also an M60 World Record.
